Yesterday I had a late night session with myself listening to the Sci-Fi-Lo-Fi No.3 Compilation,compiled by Rob Da Bank one of the greatest selectors-producers since John Peel era on bbc radio 1.The selections are a bit obvious for this “genre” but also have loads to say and finally put you a dagger straight to your heart.
Well,This is the A part of the brief history of shoegazing…

Having the album not officially launched until September but placing it in some cool record stores in Athens and Thessaloniki (Yeap, you north kids head on at Lotos record store, 7 Skra st. http://www.lotus.gr/) we have already proceed to some remixes that would be released on 12” and digital eps before the end of this year. One of them is the Actor One remix of “You” that has already done the dj rounds in Greece and you can listen it again here :

A small label should keep it underground. I guess you know that. I know how strange it sounds to release a vintage pop album only in vinyl (intstead of the massive cd releases) but we do what we like right?
